Capital strategy for technology companies scaling across the US and Europe
Fourteen years as a venture and growth investor, now on your side of the table: fundraising and exit readiness, the right mix of equity and debt, advice on growth and acquisitions on both sides of the Atlantic, and thousands of investor and lender relationships across New York, the Bay Area, Europe and Tel Aviv.
Who I work with
Founders, CFOs and the funds behind them
- Technology companies from late seed to growth
Mainly B2B software, AI, fintech and deep tech, plus marketplaces and consumer platforms. Preparing a round, a debt facility or an exit, and wanting an investor's read before the market gives one.
- Companies crossing the Atlantic
Raising or expanding in the US and Europe.
- Funds and lenders
Portfolio support on rounds, growth and exits, and an operator on the ground in New York for European portfolios.
- Co-investing
Where it fits, I am open to co-investing as a principal alongside founders and investors I know well.
What I do
Hands-on, a few companies at a time
- Fundraising and exit readiness
The investor, lender and buyer landscape; sharpening the narrative, materials, model and data room; supporting you through the process; and honest feedback on term sheets before you negotiate.
- Capital structure
Equity, venture debt or both, at the stage where each makes sense. I sat on the investor side of that decision for fourteen years, and on the company side before that as a start-up CFO.
- Growth and market entry
Positioning, product and go-to-market, first customers and the right partners, on either side of the Atlantic.
- Buy-and-build and board work
Add-on acquisitions when buying is the faster route, and selective board or independent director roles.
